Much like taxes, cleaning is inevitable. Over time, you’ve probably developed your own rhythm around the house. If you’re like me, you have a certain set of chores to do each week, like laundry, vacuuming, and giving the kitchen and bathroom a good scrub. Of course, that does make it easy to miss spots that aren’t part of your usual routine. Here are some surprisingly dirty spots to tackle next time you do a big clean.

  • Use glass cleaner on light fixtures
  • Soak and scrub stovetop burners (or clean a glass cooktop)
  • Give the inside of your oven a good scrub
